Michael Jackson -- King of Pop

Hi everyone, I'm still shocked over the death of legendary Michael Jackson...

Michael Jackson had a huge impact on me throughout my entire life. From my childhood, I remember he sang the soundtrack to the first movie I had ever seen in my life, Free Willy. I tried to mimic his moon walk, as every young kid did. In my adolescence years, I began to listen to Michael more and more. I love all of his songs! Smooth Criminal is my favorite. The way he moved, the suits he wore, i found his whole demeanor fascinating. I liked his flashiness, his style, but I never really grasped the words and the message of the songs until later when I actually understood what he meant. As an adult, I truly take every word of every song he ever wrote to heart.

Some of my favorite Michael Jackson songs (In no particular order):
  1. Smooth Criminal
  2. Thriller
  3. Beat It
  4. Billy Jean
  5. Man In The Mirror
  6. Human Nature
  7. ABC
  8. Don't Stop Until You Get Enough
  9. You Wanna Be Starting Somethin'
  10. Black or White
  11. Childhood
  12. Ben
...and many, many more...

This is the song that Michael said was the most personal he
EVER wrote. I hope it makes some of you understand him as a person, and a philosopher a little better. Pay attention to the words because he is explaining his life -- past, present, and future.

As time went on, the media and tabloids portrayed him as a child molester. I admit, I questioned the allegations as well, but regardless, he was a great entertainer. Michael admitted to having an abusive father, this deeply scarred him for life. He once said in an interview that he was changing his appearance more and more because every time he looked in a mirror, he saw his father. Michael was a philosopher, a philanthropist, a child stuck in a man's body. He loved children, simply put. I believe Neverland Ranch was a symbolic piece of evidence pertaining to "neverland" in the Peter Pan story - where the children never grew up.
"Its been my fate to compensate... for the child I've never known..." from the song, Childhood. He was not all those things the tabloids made him out to be, it was meant to be an innocent gesture, but the world has lost all innocence...

We will never know the pain Michael felt from an abusive childhood, the accusations of child molestation, and perhaps the most painful -- the lost faith from his fans. We all have demons we struggle to fight within, as did Michael Jackson. I only wish I could have seen him perform live. Its so sad because he did not intend to go out like that. He scheduled a tour of 50 farewell concerts in London. This was not the farewell he wanted...

Michael Jackson wanted all of us to change the world.

Rest Easy Michael Jackson. You will greatly be missed, but your words will continue to live through others.

No Summer Break For Me!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to update the blog and let you know what is ahead for me as far as business goes.

I will be attending school this summer, which is going to complicate things for work, not to mention the many other aspects of life. However, there is no doubt that I will continue to network in my surrounding environments. You know, wherever you go, wherever you are, you are always around someone that wants to succeed. So it is truly a motivational tool when you find another self-driven person.

This past year I've come across a lot of individuals my age who have complained that they can't find a job or they don't know where to start. I am surrounded by several wise people whom I consider mentors, and I've learned from them, simply put, you have to pay your dues. People my age seeking jobs should not do it for the money, they should do it for experience, because the most valuable jobs out there for young people, coincidentally do not pay much. However, I say "valuable" because they hold a priceless pay check of experience.

Now, I think the company I work for, Green Business Solutions, is truly a remarkable company. I was lucky to get involved with this company and I was fortunate enough for them to accept me as a Sales Associate. Sometimes it is not about your age, its about how driven you are to succeed.

A Day Out On The Field

Hey everyone! On Monday I went out on the field with my boss, Christine, to spread the word about Green Business Solutions. We went to various car dealerships in Alhambra, California and some small business offices in San Marino, California. We talked to many people, handed out business cards and fliers. It was an overall successful day!

Something as simple as re-manufactured ink and toner can have a big impact on our environment. I think it is essential that everyone do something to prevent global warming. Whether its making your business green or just making a change for yourself and your lifestyle.

If you're an environmentalist, please contact me. I would love to hear from you (justinkwok@greenbs.net).

Again, I would like to remind you that 300 Million plastic ink and toner cartridges are being discarded per year just in North America and the number is growing by 10% each year! Not to mention the residuals of ink in our landfills could end up in our irrigation systems which can contaminate our water. Green Business Solutions has the answers for companies looking to go green and environmentalist.

Green Business Solutions

Hello! This is Justin with Green Business Solutions. Let me start by telling you a little about the company.

What do we sell? ...
We sell re-manufactured and compatible Ink jet and Toner Cartridges!

Who do we sell to? ...
We mostly target businesses, but we are open to the public individual consumers. We cater to privately owned businesses mainly because its a great, easy, and efficient way to turn a company office green! Our prices are also very competitive compared to other retailers, so businesses can cut their office expenses.

How are we "Green"? ...
We recycle, reuse, and reduce. We reuse empty ink jet cartridges. This reduces the harmful plastic waste in landfills, which could potentially make its way into our irrigation system, contaminating our water supply.

What is the process we go through? ...
We reuse empty ink jet cartridges and refill them with ink. For our toners, we replace many components such as the drum, wiper blade, mag roller, powder, and other smaller parts. Most re-man companies just re-coat the original drum which does not provide quality prints or long life span. Our toners have equivalent or higher pgae yields than OEM toners. We put all empty cartridges through a rigorous cleaning process with deionized water to ensure highest quality!

What makes us a ligitimate company? ...
We own factories in the US and China, we also work with vendors from Europe and Japan. Our factories are ISO9001 certified, meaning that they comply with proper work conditions by law. Our business is also ISO14001 certified, meaning we meet the requirements to be a certified eco-friendly company.

How much does our ink & toner cost? ...

It really depends on the make and model of the printer. We can save our clients up to 60% off of retail stores like Staples and Office Depot. So going green as far as ink and toner does not necessarily mean spending more money.

What brands do we have? ...
We carry most brands which include:
  1. Hewlett Packard
  2. Canon
  3. Epson
  4. Dell
  5. Lexmark
  6. Brother
With more to come. We also have cables like CAT5, HDMI, USB Cables, Video Cables, and DVI (Coming Soon)

So if you own your own business and you are spending an arm and a leg on ink and toner every month, please contact me to inquire about pricing and other information!

Thanks for reading everyone. There will definitely be more to come. I'll be providing promotions and discounts through Blogger as well as discussing environmental issues that need to be addressed.

Recycle, Reuse, Reduce everyone!
